Åland offers excellent golf courses and all the challenges you could wish for. The season starts in early May and continues to the end of October. Due to the mild sea climate, the courses are in good condition straight from the beginning of the season. The Slottsbanan course is the best course in Finland and a European top course.

Short Distances – More Time for Golf

In Åland, you can play at two golf clubs with easy access to the sea: Ålands Golfklubb is located in the medieval Kastelholm area on the Åland main island and Eckerö Golf in western Åland. 

Due to the short distances, it's easy to move between the two clubs. If you like, you can play on both of them during one day! It takes only a half an hour from Mariehamn to Kastelholm and to Eckerö by car.

A Golf Gem of the Baltic Sea

Åland offers three 18 hole courses in total: Slottsbanan, Kungsbanan and Eckerö Golf. In addition, there’s a 6 hole par-3 course, Prinsessan, as well as nice areas for putting practice. 

In addition to great golf, the courses offer beautiful views. At Ålands Golfklubb you can admire a sea view and a view over the medieval Kastelholm castle. At Eckerö Golf, you’ll enjoy a peaceful forest and rural landscape.
