Traditional Mail Rowing Contest over the Sea of Åland
Competition for traditional post rota boats. The year´s competition starts from Grisslehamn around 10.00 am.
Around 40 traditional folk boats, several of them more than 100 years old, are rowed and sailed across the Åland Sea. The boats are built using a technique that UNESCO has classified as Intangible Cultural Heritage.
