ALANDICA KULTUR OCH KONGRESS

Alandica Kultur & Kongress is a modern, top-rate meeting venue for functions of all kinds. An exciting building for productive meetings, with a magnificent view of Mariehamn’s Eastern Harbour. The building was designed by Kjaer & Richter and consists of a large hall with a dais and room for 600 people, a flexible auditorium for 200 people, a spacious foyer and several smaller meeting rooms, all with a sea view and technical equipment.

Its central location in Mariehamn makes it ideal for attendees participating in meetings to make their way speedily from the ferry harbour and airport to Alandica. It is just a short walk from Alandica Kultur & Kongress to the town’s hotels, entertainment and events. Seen from a wider perspective, we are located between Stockholm, Turku, Helsinki, St Petersburg and the Baltic region. The extensive network of connections to Åland makes Alandica perfect for gatherings involving people from the countries around the Baltic Sea.

It goes without saying that Alandica has disabled access and is equipped with hearing loops.

ACCOMMODATION

Hotel Arkipelag with its 76 spacious rooms and 8 elegant suites with sea view or private sauna is located right next to Alandica. All rooms have a minibar, free internet and IPTV.

Within walking distance there are several hotels with a total of about 500 rooms.

EXHIBITION AREA

Foyer 750 m2 on two levels. An attractive space with plenty of room for exhibitors. Has a high ceiling with a glass wall facing the adjacent bay. Food and drink counters on both levels make it possible for hot food, cold snacks and drinks to be served.

FURTHER INFORMATION

Free wireless Internet throughout the building. Computer projectors in all meeting rooms. 22×10 m dais with stage curtain and vertically adjustable orchestra pit in the large hall. Hire of the large hall and the auditorium include existing sound and light technology together with technicians.

RESTAURANTS

Alandica’s airy foyer with its sea view provides a fabulous framework for meal breaks, cocktail parties and gala dinners. A-la-carte restaurants with full range of courses.
Lunch and dinner for groups of fewer than 40 or more than 300 people are served at the Restaurang Arkipelag on the other side of the street.
