Det som blir kvar is an exploratory exhibition about the many expressions of death, cultural, traditional and personal.

All people have one thing in common, death. Not just our own, but also the death in our vicinity.
Our ways of expressing feelings about it, and the rituals that surround it, differ between individuals and cultures, but together our actions form a universal human experience of meeting the dead.

Death leaves no one untouched. What remains is an exploratory exhibition about the different expressions of death, cultural, traditional and individual. In the exhibition, the visitor encounters thoughts and ideas around a theme that we all carry within us.

A collaboration between the Åland Museum of Cultural History and the Multicultural Association of Åland.
