Konstrundan at Kulturvillan

Welcome to Kulturvillan during Konstrundan, where you get the chance to explore local art and meet the artists!

Konstrundan at Kulturvillan

Kulturvillan brings together five artists who present their work and invite visitors to conversations, experiences, and new perspectives.

Throughout the weekend, you can experience art up close, meet the artists, and gain insight into how artworks take shape.

Come discover the art, meet the artists, and experience Kulturvillan as a place for creative encounters. Konstrundan is a free event for visitors and takes place across Finland on 5–6 September 2026.

The café is open – a warm welcome!

Featured artists:

Linnea Korpi
A multidisciplinary artist and dancer working with performance, installation, textiles, and visual art. During Konstrundan, she presents Monsters at Dinner, an installation combining scenography, painting, sound, costume, and projection. At selected times, the work is activated through a performance in which visitors encounter a live artistic situation.

Anna Lind Bengtsson
A visual artist presenting large, semi-abstract paintings that explore emotions, the dynamics of nature, and inner landscapes. During the weekend, she will create a temporary studio at Kulturvillan, offering visitors an opportunity to meet the artist and experience her creative process.

Maria Nurmela & Vesa Loikas
Dancer and choreographer Maria Nurmela and photographer and visual artist Vesa Loikas present Skogsvaktarna (Metsänhaltijat) in Swedish for the first time. The work combines photography, augmented reality, sound, and somatic movement exercises. Visitors are invited to explore the boundary between the visible and invisible through movement, sound, and the imagery of the forest. The work is suitable for all ages and requires no prior knowledge.

Sanna Isabell Berntsson
A multidisciplinary artist working with painting, ceramics, sculpture, textiles, and installation. She presents completed works, works in progress, sketches, and material samples, offering an insight into her exploratory practice and her investigation of material, form, and the body.
